Halves to support Dungen at Whelan's
Dublin ambient group open for the Swedish electronica band this Saturday
Dublin space-rockers Halves will be opening for Dungen at Whelan's this Saturday, November 13 as part of the Harmonic Series 2010. The group, whose first full-length album dropped just over a week ago on October 29, is taking their far out live ambience to stages around the city in support of It Goes, It Goes (Forever & Ever).
Dungen, the brainchild of Swedish producer/arranger/singer Gustav Ejstes, is hitting the Emerald Isle in support of its latest release, the nihilistically-titled Skit I Allt, or "Fuck All This." The group has recently expanded from merely being the studio brainchild of Ejstes into a full, rocking quartet, and will be playing a few dates around the U.K. and Finland following their stop in Dublin.
Tickets for the show at Whelan's will run you €15.
