Hot Press can exclusively reveal that Brian May is paying an acoustic visit on June 30 to the Dublin Olympia with singer Kerry Ellis.
If their recent UK dates are anything to go by, the set will range from such mega Queen hits as ‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love’, ‘We Are The Champions’ and ‘Somebody To Love’ to chestnuts like ‘Knocking On Heaven’s Door’, ‘I, Who Have Nothing’ and ‘Born Free’.
May, an ardent animal rights campaigner, has recorded a new version of the last on the list, which is raising funds for a South African lion sanctuary.
