Hot Press announces first Indiependence Hot Spot Acts

As previously announced, the Hot Press Hot Spot is set to make its August Bank Holiday bow at the Indiependence festival in Mitchelstown.

Featuring a heady mix of signings, public interviews and acoustic sessions, the first batch of confirmed acts include Ryan Sheridan, And So I Watch You From Afar, The Original Rudeboys, SOAK, Toby Kaar, Windings, We Cut Corners and Le Galaxie.

Meanwhile, things are seriously hotting up for Mr. Sheridan in Germany where his debut album, The Day You Live Forever, last week topped the iTunes chart.

This week finds him opening there for Silly, a legendary rock band who formed during the ‘70s in what was then communist East Germany and have an enormous live following.
