Imelda May added to the Music Show line-up
She's playing on the Live Stage at the RDS.
Imelda May and her guitarist husband Darrel Higham, the inspiration for ‘Big Bad Handsome Man’, are to play an acoustic Live Stage set as part of The Music Show, which takes place on October 3 and 4 in the RDS Main Hall.
In action recently at this year’s iTunes Music Festival in London – the evidence is to be found at www.itunes.com/londonfestival – the Liberties rockabilly merchant is enjoying some great press in the States where her Love Tattoo album has just been released.
“A surprisingly eclectic, big band affair where May's impressive chops are clearly the star,” reckons The California Chronicle while South Florida Metromix sums it up as “jazzy, soulful and oh-so-sassy.”
