Kaiser Chiefs for Heineken Green Energy Festival
The Kaiser Chiefs have confirmed they'll play Dublin as part of the Heineken Green Energy Festival, and they'll be bringing support from the UK too...
The Chiefs will play the Dublin Castle on May 1, the Bank Holiday Monday, as a continuation of their UK tour.
They last played these shores for Oxegen, in the middle of what's been a phenomenal year for the Leeds lads.
"It has been amazing," frontman Ricky Wilson said. "I can't wait till I can have some time off so I can get all bloated and start walking around and acting like a prick. I want to walk round Leeds with a huge gold-plated hat on."
Coming with them are The Cribs from nearby Wakefield, but there are more support acts to be confirmed.
Tickets for the gig are €34.50 plus booking fee, and on sale from Friday December 16 from Ticketmaster and other usual outlets.
