Kaiser Chiefs premiere new song and video!
'Little Shocks' to come from as-yet untitled fourth album
They say a year is a long time in music, well it's been three since Leeds band Kaiser Chiefs released any new material and in that time a lot has changed. Not least the displacement of rock on radio to the narrow margins as the likes of Gaga, Pitbull et al have taken over which mean that we're unlikley to see the Chiefs trouble the upper reaches of the chart the way they once did. But it seems with that in mind the band have forgoed their past for a broodier sound. 'Little Shocks' is the first single from the band's upcoming fourth album and while it lacks the stadium-calibre singalong factor of the likes of 'I Predict A Riot' and 'Ruby' it pushes Ricky Wilson and the boys into a potentially exciting new direction.
Check it out with the official video here.
