Killers to headline Belfast Vital gig
The second day of this summer's Tennents Vital gig in Belfast will be headlined by The Killers.

While there’s no official word yet from the promoters, The Killers have announced on their MySpace that they’re headlining the second Vital ’07 gig in Belfast’s Botanic Gardens on August 22.
As previously revealed in Hotpress, day one finds Razorlight and Manic Street Preachers doing their very British rock ‘n’ roll things in the 12,000-capacity venue.
Two-day tickets are already on sale for £70.

Given that The Killers’ opening string of near classic singles, ‘When You Were Young’ is a bit of a shock at first, being apparently devoid of any kind of hook. Give it a few listens however, and its subtle charms start to reveal themselves.
