LISTEN: New Cathy Davey remix

Plus details of her upcoming themed shows...

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 19 Dec 2011

Choosing to do something different for her next single release, Cathy Davey has re-worked 'Bad Weather' from last year's chart topping The Nameless LP.

Entirely re-recorded and now featuring The Dublin Gospel Choir, 'Bad Weather' has more presence than ever before. Listen to it here. Davey pitches up at Whelan's in February for three uniquely themed shows.

They include a full band show featuring music from her three albums to date (Feb 2), a reprise of her Dublin Fringe Festival award-winning Songs That Scare Children show (Feb 9) and finally Heroes on Feb 16, an evening that will feature Davey singing the songs of her favourite artists from the 40s, 50s and 60s such as Marlene Dietrich, Julie London and Jane Russell.
