LISTEN: New Muse track
'Madness' is taken from the band's forthcoming album The 2nd Law...
Muse have launched a second single from their forthcoming sixth album The 2nd Law, out on October 1.
It's almost two months since the trio released 'Survival', the official song of the London 2012 Olympics.
The melancholic 'Madness' was inspired by a fight that singer Matt Bellamy had with his girlfriend, American actress Kate Hudson.

"I wrote that song having a fight with my girlfriend," he told US radio station KROQ FM. "Nothing particularly over the top but just having one of those moments where she leaves you for the day to think about it."
We hear ya, Matt. Check out the track, below.
