Laura Izibor receives invitation to The White House
Irish soul singer, Laura Izibor is ‘honoured and delighted’ to receive an invitation from President Barack Obama for the traditional St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in The White House on March 17
Every St. Patricks Day, the American President hosts a celebration of all things Irish, with a traditional hand-over of shamrock from the Taoiseach. But this year he will be joined by Meteor Award winner/Choice Award nominee Laura Izibor.
Laura, whose debut album Let the Truth be Told reached Top 30 on the US Billboard mainstream chart and No. 2 in Ireland, is currently on tour across the US. She will be joined by Irish golfer Padraic Harrington and champion female boxer Katie Taylor for the event.
