Laura Izibor's One Tree Hill debut is nearly upon us
The Irish soul songstress hits TV screens next week!
Fans of the lovely and talented Laura Izibor won't want to miss out when the eighth season of US drama One Tree Hill kicks off on E4 next Monday night July 18 at 9pm. The Dublin native will be performing 'Can't Be Love' as part of her television acting debut on the long-running drama. Joining the cast as a new character named Erin, Laura left quite the impression on show creator and executive producer Mark Schwahn.
"There’s a musician I fell in love with and a storyline I fell in love with," explains Schwahn, "and we actually married them together for Laura Izibor. She’s really compelling, I loved her record, I really loved her accent and her vibe, and felt that was an energy we hadn’t included on our show."
What’s more, Izibor’s new rendition of the show’s official theme song, 'I Don’t Want To Be' by Gavin DeGraw, will premiere alongside her acting debut. Take a bow Laura!
