Lil Wayne confirms Irish date
The rapper plays the O2 next year...
US rapper Lil Wayne has announced his first Irish headliner - he plays Dublin's O2 on March 8, 2013.
The gig will showcase Wayne's forthcoming tenth studio album, I Am Not A Human Being 2, due out in early 2013. His last release Tha Carter IV (Cash Money Records) was the highest-selling hip hop album of 2011, and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard chart.
Not exactly a shy, retiring wallflower, Wayne has declared; "You can’t compare any other artist out there to me. They are them, I am me. Nobody can do what I can. I am the best at what I do and that’s everything.”
