Love to sell off Cobain Songs?
Hole frontwoman tired of being 'the widow'.
Fresh from the rave review of her new album 'Nobody's Daughter' in the current issue of Hot Press, Courtney Love has said that she is considering selling off Kurt Cobain's back catalogue.
She told The Scotsman newspaper: "I’m thinking about selling off all of Kurt’s publishing. All of the rights, everything. It’s not a financial decision; it’s an emotional one."
She goes on to say that she wants to be seen as a person and musician in her own right adding "I’m always ‘the widow’ and that drives me nuts."
This latest news comes hot on the heels of Love's twitter feud with Billy Corgan, that has seen the Smashing Pumpkins frontman claim that the songs on 'Nobody's Daughter' belong to him and not Love.
One thing's for sure, there's never a dull day when Courtney Love is involved.
