Mary Stokes Confirms Purty Loft Date

One of a slew of dates being lined up for the refurbished venue, the gig is scheduled for Friday November 20th. Stokes, who is just back from a triumphant three-gig stint at the Cork Jazz Festival, played a standing room only show last Saturday at Clontarf Yacht Club, as part of the Northside Blues Sessions series. "The rafters were shaking," one eyewitness told the Hot Press newsdesk, "and the crowd were boogieing in the aisles. It was a rockin' set." The gig was recorded by Near FM, while Near TV captured the visuals.

Doors for the Mary Stokes Band's Purty Loft show open at 8pm, and tickets are €10.
