Music Show Live Stage comp winner announced

We can now reveal the band who will take to the Live stage at The Music Show this weekend as winners of the Hot Press/Sennheiser competition. Drum roll please...!

And the winner of the public vote is... DC Tempest!

The Dublin six-piece will play the Live Stage at The Music Show this Sunday, October 5 at 12.30pm, and they've also won themselves thousands of euro worth of Sennheiser stage equipment.

DC Tempest play the Live Stage on Sunday alongside top acts The Coronas, Republic Of Loose and Damien Dempsey. Saturday sees appearances from The Blizzards, Declan O'Rourke, Cathy Davey, Ham Sandwich and Fionn Regan, and there'll also be special live virtuoso acts Mike Terrana and Jerry Donohue.

The Music Show runs over this weekend (October 4-5) at the RDS, Dublin.

Tickets for The Music Show can be bought on the door, or in advance at ticketmaster.ie.
