New Outcasts DVD

It captures a recent live show in the capital.

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 30 Jul 2012

Team Hot Press’ older members spent part of their weekend watching The Outcasts: Live From Dublin, a DVD document of the legendary Nordy punks’ return to the capital 28 years after their 1984 Clash support.

“This is something that would have seemed like science-fiction when we first started,” bassist Greg Cowan reflects.

Adjudged back in the day by John Peel to be “Belfast’s finest band”, The Outcasts are still well able to deliver the goods with ‘Nowhere Left To Run’, ‘Self-Conscious Over You’, ‘Seven Deadly Sins’ and ‘The Cops Are Coming’ every bit as pogoable as they were in the ‘70s.

Copies priced £13 will be available from http://loudfastloud.com on August 6.
