New festival announced
The very first Valentia Isle Festival takes place this September.
This newest addition to the Irish festival circuit takes place September 14 to 16 on Valentia Isle, just off the coast of Southwest Kerry.
Going with a unique premise, the festival is offering live music mixed with with special matchmaking and flirting workshops.
The Rubber Bandits, Ham Sandwich, Daithí, Toby Carr and Neon Wolf are just some of the acts that will take to the three music stages while Avril Mulcahy (aka Miss Singlelista) will take care of the mingling and matchmaking side of things.
There will also be surfing and kite surfing, sailing and kayaking, morning yoga sessions, comedy, burlesque and much more throughout the weekend.
