Noel Gallagher for Dublin and Belfast
He'll play the O2 and the Odyssey arena in 2012.
Having just played a storming show at the Olympia Theatre last night, Noel Gallagher has announced plans to come back over and do it all again in February.
His High Flying Birds will undertake a seven date arena tour early next year, that will wind its way to Irish shores in mid February.
On February 16, the current Hot Press cover star takes to the Odyssey Arena stage and the following night (Feb 17), he'll return to Dublin for a massive show at the O2.
Tickets for the Dublin date go on sale on Thursday October 27 and are priced at €39.05. Tickets for Belfast are on sale from Friday October 28 and priced at £33.00. Go to [link]www.ticketmaster.ie[/link] for details and [link]www.noelgallagher.com[/link] for a pre-sale from 9am Wednesday.
If the 2012 dates are a patch on last night's Olympia showing, fans will be in for a treat. Expertly mixing the old with the new, the likes of 'AKA... What A Life!' and 'The Death Of You And Me' sat comfortably alongside 'Half The World Away' and 'Don't Look Back in Anger'.
Clearly in ebullient form following Man City's 6-1 drubbing of Manchester United, Noel even rolled out sweet versions of 'Supersonic' and 'Wonderwall' (which owed quite a bit to the Ryan Adams' cover).
