O Emperor sign to Universal Ireland & release new four-tracker
The Reverie EP is out on April 16.
O Emperor have confirmed the April 16 CD and download release of their Reverie EP, their first since inking a deal with Universal Music Ireland.
Co-produced by the band and Kieran Lynch, ‘Don’t Mind Me’, ‘Ghost Of My Heart’, ‘Devil Don’t Dance’ and ‘It Only Comes To Pass’ were mixed by John O’Mahony who’s previously done the honours for the likes of Coldplay and the Kaiser Chiefs.
The Waterford five-piece also embark on a nationwide tour that takes them to the Roisin Dubh, Galway (April 8); Dolan’s, Limerick (9); SET Theatre, Kilkenny (16); Electric Avenue, Waterford (23); Crane Lane, Cork (24); Black Box, Belfast (28); The Stables, Mullingar (30); Vantastival, Annagassan (May 1); Whelan’s, Dublin (6); INEC, Killarney (7); McGinnity’s, Cavan (8); Spirit Store, Dundalk (20); De Barra’s, Clonakilty (21); Greystones Theatre (22); Happy Valley Festival, Thomastown (June 6); Sea Sessions, Bundoran (27); Junction Festival, Clonmel (July 2); Jolly Roger, Sherkin Isle (3); Indie-Pendence, Mitchelstown (August 1); and St. Mary’s Collegiate, Youghal (7).
