Paul Brady and Thurston Moore get behind charity campaign

The Guitar Rescue, which centers around a Fender Squier Telecaster, is aiming to raise funds for Cancer Research.

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 31 Jan 2013

Hot Press is most intrigued to hear about The Rescue Guitar, a Fender Squier Telecaster that was spotted lying forlornly in a Limerick dump.

Now nursed back to full health, the idea is to have it signed by as many musos as possible and then auctioned for Cancer Research.

Already getting behind the project are Paul Brady and Thurston Moore who know a loved guitar when they see one!

Any other top rock ‘n’ rollers and popsters who’d like to lend their support should visit http://www.facebook.com/RescueGuitar

If we ask very nicely perhaps Bruce, Steve, Nils and the rest of the lads will scribble on it when they come to Thomond Park.
