DEAF (The Dublin Electronic Arts Festival) turns the Guinness Storehouse on, starting Saturday October 26th; and the Fleadh Electronic brings an acoustic-electric collision to Vicar Street on the 27th
There's more electronica than you can shake a Kaoss Pad at on October 26 when The Guinness Storehouse plays host to a six-stage Dublin Electronic Arts Festival blow-out.
Kicking off at 9pm, the live action includes Aux Men, 4Hero, Decal, Paradox, Polska, Ambulance and Burning Man. The DJ and multimedia line-up is just as strong with Mike Paradinas, Mark Dixon, Billy Scurry, Colophone, Pixel Corp, Delicious 9, D.A.D.D.Y., 3 Monkeys and 18 others all doing their respective things.
Also on the recommended list is October 27's Fleadh Electronic at Vicar St. which features the myriad talents of Esoterica, Felix Rex, moonlighting Afro Celt Iarla O Lionaird and a mystery headliner whose identity will be revealed closer to the date.
Advance tickets are available now for a miserly eur20.
