Rory Gallagher and Bob Geldof in pre-Xmas box-set frenzy

The Complete Rockpalast Recordings – The Definitive Collection will be limited to 25,555 copies, it contains nine hours worth of footage recorded in Germany between 1976 and 1990.
All of Rory’s classics are present and correct, with especially incendiary versions of ‘Messin’ With The Kid’, ‘Bullfrog Blues’, ‘Tattooed Lady’ and ‘Brute Force And Ignorance’.
Each box-set is individually numbered and accompanied by a commemorative booklet.
Also getting the anthology treatment in the run-up to Christmas is Bob Geldof whose entire solo output is featured on Great Songs Of Indifference – The Bob Geldof Anthology 1986 – 2000.
A 4 CD package, it precedes his December 6 visit to Vicar St.
