Rory Gallagher documentary series on RTE
Rory Gallagher is the subject of a new RTE Radio 1 documentary series, which premieres at 11.12pm on Sunday July 24.

Presented by Stagestruck fanzine editor Dino McGartland, the first part of Against The Grain is titled ‘The Northern Connection’ and features input from close Rory associates Gerry McAvoy, Brendan O’Neill, John Wilson, Lou Martin, Charlie McCracken and Eric Bell.
‘Going To My Hometown’, ‘Earl Hooker’, ‘The Taste Years’, ‘The Glory Years’ and ‘The Legacy’ follow over the next five weeks, with Larry Gogan, Ken Stewart, Eric Kitteringham, Norman Damery and Johnny Campbell among the interviewees.
