Rubyworks announce fire sale
Cut-price music from The Minutes, Fight Like Apes and more available.
Dublin’s independent Rubyworks label has announced a ‘Things We Lost In The Fire’ download sale after losing their entire stock of over 10,000 albums in the Sony warehouse blaze in Enfield.
While replacements are pressed, they’re making their entire back catalogue available through iTunes at the knockdown price of €5.99 each. This includes titles by Rodrigo y Gabriela, Ryan Sheridan, Gavin Friday, Mary Coughlan, Wallis Bird, Fight Like Apes and The Minutes.
“It's a devasting blow”, reflects Rubyworks manager Roger Quail, “not just for us, but for the entire independent label community. PIAS (who distribute us) have risen to the challenge. We’re getting great support from them and our partners in manufacturing.”
