Shane MacGowan and Sharon Shannon to headline this year’s Beamish Cork Folk Festival
The Irish icons will be performing in The Savoy on Friday October 1.
Tickets are €35 plus booking fee.
The festival runs from September 30 to October 3 and features a host of traditional folk acts and activities. For the energetic among you, there’s a lot to take part in, including sean nós classes, storytelling, fiddle masterclasses and of course a Céilí Mór.
Or if you’d prefer someone else to do the performing, there’s great line-up of musicians, with headliners including Gemma Hayes, Imagined Village, Eddie Reader, Beoga, Iarla Ó Lionáird, Niwel Tsumb, Kilfenora Céilí Band and more.
