Snow Patrol announce Christmas shows with a difference
Also expect to hear a few Reindeer Section tunes!

Snow Patrol have announced a pre-Christmas foray to Ireland, which includes intimate gigs in the Olympia, Dublin (December 2); INEC, Killarney (4); Theatre Royal, Castlebar (6); and The Waterfront, Belfast (7 & 8).
Looking at those dates, we wouldn’t be at all surprised if there’s a second night in Dame Street.
The Reworked tour is billed as “a live celebration featuring highlights from the band’s 15-year career to date and will feature a selection of Snow Patrol songs reinvented by the Patrol, additional musicians and many special guests. The Reworked tour offers a chance to look back on the early days of their career as well as giving fans the opportunity to hear their work interpreted in a brand new way. The unique shows will also encompass the songs of the Reindeer Section – a collective fronted by Gary Lightbody and featuring members of Belle & Sebastian, Idlewild and Teenage Fanclub among many others.”
