Snow Patrol for Belfast acoustic show
Frontman Gary Lightbody also reveals he's been working with an unlikely songwriting partner...
Having played a wonderful acoustic show in Dublin a year ago, Snow Patrol get uplugged – and super-Christmasy – on December 23 when Gary, Nathan and Johnny swing by The Waterfront, Belfast.
Tickets priced £22.50 go on sale on Friday November 23 and, given that the boys routinely fill the 55,000-capacity Ward Park in nearby Bangor, is guranteed to sell-out in minutes.
Expect an ultra-buff Mr. Lightbody who’s become a gym bunny in the States – “There was a woman on the Stairmaster in high heels – only in LA!” he reports – and spent a day penning tunes last week with Garret ‘Jacknife’ Lee and Lissie.
One assumes Gary’s being serious when he tweets that he’s also spent quality studio time recently with One Direction man/boy Harry Styles.
“We wrote a great song together,” he enthuses. “Even if I do say so myself!”
