Snow Patrol man's court date set
Snow Patrol keyboard-player Tom Simpson was absent from court this morning as his lawyer successfully asked for a continuation of his cocaine possession case.
Sheriff Iain Peebles ordered that the 35-year-old and his co-accused, Colin Kennedy, now present themselves for trial in Glasgow on Tuesday August 28.
The duo were arrested in June 2006 while walking along the city’s main Sauchiehall Street thoroughfare.
The main concern for Simpson is that a prosecution would deny him continued access to the United States where the band are currently on tour.
