Snow Patrol reschedule US tour
After postponing the bulk of their June shows in America, Snow Patrol have made good on their word to reschedule the dates.
The tour, with Duke Spirit in support, was cancelled after singer Gary Lightbody was hit with throat problems. With polyps still strongly in evidence and his chords not healing properly, he has been forced to take a month off. Their next Irish dates, at Belfast's Botanic Gardens () and Marlay Park in Dublin (August 23) should not be affected.
The rescheduled dates for the states are:
15 August - Boston, Bank of America Pavilion
6 September - Atlanta, Tabernacle
8 - New York, Roseland
9 - Philadelphia, Electric Factory
10 - Washington DC, 930 Club
12 - Montreal, Metropolis
13 - Toronto, Kool Haus
14 - Detroit, Clutch Cargoes
16 - Chicago, Riviera
17 - Minneapolis, First Avenue
21 - Vancouver, PNE Forum
23 - Portland, Roseland
24 - San Francisco, Warfield
26 - Los Angeles, Wiltern
27 - Los Angeles, Wiltern
28 - San Diego, House of Blues
