Snow in summer
Snow Patrol have finished the recording of their Final Straw album which is due through Polydor subsidiary Black Line on August 4.
Mixed in London's Britannia Studios by ex-Thee Amazing Colossal Men and Compulsion guitarist Garret "Jacknife" Lee, the opus features 'How To Be Dead', 'Wow', 'Gleaming Auction', 'Tiny Little Fractures', 'Chocolate', 'Run', 'Grazed Knees', 'Ways & Means', 'Whatever's Left', 'Somewhere A Clock Is Ticking', 'Same' and the lead single 'Spitting Game' which is out here on August 8.
Along with their Witnness Upstage appearance on July 13, Gary Lightbody & Co. are also lining up an extensive Irish tour for later in the summer.
