The Coronas add second Christmas Olympia show
Due to demand, the Dublin foursome will now also play December 11 as well as their original show the previous night
Meteor nominees The Coronas' Christmas shows completely sold out last year, resulting in the group adding three Academy shows in January to cope with the huge demand.
The band, whose latest album Tony Was An Ex-Con is currently at the top of the Irish Indie chart, recorded the record over six weeks in the prestigious Sawmills studio in Cornwall with the assistance of esteemed producer John Cornfield (Muse, Razorlight, Oasis).
"We're so proud of this record”, says lead singer Danny O'Reilly. "We realised along time ago that it’s impossible to try to impress everyone. You can only make music that you believe in yourself - be it pop, rock, indie, rap, whatever. Hopefully the tunes will speak for themselves".
Tickets for the band's Saturday December 11 show go on sale this Friday July 30 at 9am. Tickets €27 including booking fee.
