The Minutes join Bandstocks
The Minutes are the latest Irish band to join the Bandstocks project, where fans are encouraged to buy virtual stock in their favourite groups.

Bandstocks.com is an online project that allows fans to buy shares in a band, allowing the group to record and release material. In return, the fans get a financial stake in the album, their name credited on releases and special benefits, like privileged booking rights and invitates to special gigs.

Or, as The Minutes explain: "Artists sell shares in their records to anyone who may wish to Invest. There are three stages in this project. The voting, the investment and finally the production. But before we get to that stage we gots to get us some votes. So to get our project moved along to the investment stage means we need 2,500 votes."
