The Radiators From Space postpone Dublin date

Their September 8 hometown show will have to wait.

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 28 Jun 2012

Punk legends The Radiators From Space were due to play their first show in over five years next month, gracing the stage of Dublin's Academy on September 8, but we've just received word that that will no longer go ahead.

Lead singer Philip Chevron is thought to have throat problems that would prevent him from singing playing, though the cancer which sidelined him for several years is unlikely to have returned.

No new date has been announced, but the band have promised to reschedule the show as soon as possible. Refunds are available from original point of sale.

The band recently released Sound City Beat, an 18-track covers collection of songs recorded by pre-punkers like Eire Apparent, The Blue Aces, Thin Lizzy, Orange Machine, The Movement, Skid Row and Horslips. We cannot recommend it too highly!
