The Rubberbandits: Change of situation
Joe Clarke and Paul Webb of CWB have announced that they'll no longer be working with The Rubberbandits
As the Rubberbandits continue to woo crowds across the water with their chaotic blend of comedy, hip/hop and general mis-behaviour, news has surfaced of a split from their management company CWB.
In a statement, CWB's Paul Webb and Joe Clarke announced the news and wished The 'Bandits all the best going forward.
"Paul Webb & Joe Clarke would like to let people know that effective immediately they will no longer be working with the Rubberbandits."
"We would like to take this opportunity to wish the bandits all the best going forward and thanks to everyone whose helped along the way!"
The Rubberbandits – who are currently completing a run of shows at London's Soho Theatre – have been garnering plenty of media attention in the UK following their Channel 4 pilot in November. Perhaps its this growth in popularity that prompted the move.
We'll bring you more news when we get it. The'Bandits have yet to Tweet on the matter.
