Hairy Canadian quartet The Sheepdogs make their Irish bow this spring, taking to the Academy 2 stage on Wednesday April 3.
A good old-fashioned band that have built up a massive fanbase across the Atlantic by touring like maniacs - their fans ensured they won a competition to feature on the cover of Rolling Stone in 2011, making them the first unsigned band to do so - and their live show is lauded as a result.
Tickets are €13 a pop from www.ticketmaster.ie. It's a rare chance to see a group on the rise in such intimate settings.
