Tonight’s Ham Sandwich tribute to Derek Nally has been postponed
The rescheduled date is July 16, with original tickets still valid
Tonight’s tribute show to the late, great Derek Nally in Whelans has unfortunately had to be cancelled due to worsening weather conditions. Organisers have just released this statement:
“It is with great regret that we’ve taken the decision to postpone tonight’s performance, with some artists, special guests and audience members stranded in various parts of the country we wouldn’t be able to host the kind of evening that we see fitting for Derek also with overnight conditions set to worsen we’d prefer to reschedule rather than worry about people getting home. We’d like to thank all the artists that had agreed to participate and those who bought tickets for showing their support to Derek and his family.”
The tribute to Derek will go ahead next year, on July 16. Original tickets will still be valid and any refunds for the original date will be available from the point of sale.
