U2 still on course for 2004 release
Paul McGuinness has confirmed that it's full steam ahead, not back to the drawing board, for the next U2 record
U2 ALBUM UPDATE! Paul McGuinness has been talking about U2 reuniting in the studio with old production ally Steve Lillywhite.
"There are various producers involved in this album," he tells Hot Press. "Chris Thomas has done some great work. It's good to work with Steve again but it's not as if we're starting from scratch."

In other words, despite concerns that it would be delayed until 2005 there's still every likelihood that the follow up to All That You Can't Leave Behind will be in the shops before Christmas.
