UPDATED: Bruce & The E Street Band play the RDS

Springsteen's Irish love affair resumes in July, with a deluxe edition of Working On A Dream now available, and a Darkness On The Edge Of Town box-set in the works...

Following on from their three sold-out shows there last year, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band make a swift return to the Dublin RDS on July 11. Tickets priced €86.25 (standing) and €96.25 (seated) go on sale on Friday January 30 and will doubtless be snapped up in seconds.

Meanwhile, quick off the mark fans can get a deluxe edition of Springsteen & Co.’s Working On A Dream album, which includes a beautifully illustrated lyric book and a 40-minute ‘Making Of’ documentary DVD.

As if that wasn’t enough to be getting on with, his manager Jon Landau has confirmed that Team Springsteen are working on a Darkness On The Edge Of Town box-set reissue.

“It will involve remastering that record, doing the kind of super-creative reconstruction and documentary of how it all came about and finding usable live footage from that point in time,” he tells Billboard. “That’s a big one, and not that far from completion. When we can find six weeks to sit down and finish it, I’m sure we will.”
