WATCH: New Wavves promo
The Cali band indulge in some cross-dressing.
It's a time-honoured rock tradition and now Wavves have gone the 'getting in drag and larking about with a camera' route previously travelled by the likes of Dave Grohl.
The video for 'Afraid Of Heights' features a 'comedy' seduction mix-up between Nathan Williams and Stephen Pope before things get a little out-of-hand.
The song itself is the title track to their Afraid Of Heights LP, which is available from today.
Williams says:
"The general theme of the record is depression and anxiety, being death-obsessed and paranoid of impending doom. I feel like the narration is almost schizophrenic if you listen front to back; every word is important, even the constant contradictions and lack of self-worth. That's all a part of this record-questioning everything not because I'm curious, but because I'm paranoid."
