Wallis Bird confirms Dublin and Cork shows
She also has a new album out on July 26.

Hot Press Yearbook cover star Wallis Bird – the 2009 edition of the music industry bible is due in the shops shortly – has announced two dates in support of her New Boots album, which gets its Rubyworks release on July 26.
Catch the Meteor award-winner in Whelan’s, Dublin (July 24) and Cyprus Avenue, Cork (25) for €20 and €17.50 respectively.
The collection’s flagship single, ‘To My Bones’, is out on June 26 and suggests her well-kept secret days are over.
“I wrote that song after one amazing night I had with my friends, where I realised how much fun I have on this earth,” Bird says. “I'm always kissing strangers, making friends with them. I love meeting people, getting them to step out of their skin – get them to do a limbo in a pub! I wanted for a long time to write about how much enjoyment I get from my life'.”
