Grace Jones - The Musical Of My Life will be screened later this year.
A film about Grace Jones is set to gain a full UK release later this year and Hot Press can reveal that the film will also be shown in select theatres in Ireland.
Work on Grace Jones - The Musical Of My Life started back as early as 2005 and the film will finally reach cinemas after Picturehouse Entertainment acquired the rights.
Katie Holly, Managing Director of Blinder Films here in Ireland, today confirmed that the doc-biopic will also see an Irish release, although dates have not yet been confirmed.
The film was directed by Sophie Fiennes, who is also responsible for The Pervert's Guide To Ideology, the acclaimed 2012 documentary with philosopher Slavoj Žižek.

Fearless and formidable, 66-year old Jamaican-born Grace Jones has left an indelible footprint on the music scene, inspiring musicians like Nicki Minaj and Nile Rodgers, as well as acting blazing a trail for musical style icons like Roisin Murphy and Lady Gaga. Her most recent trip to Dublin saw her dazzling on the main stage at the RDS for 2016's Metropolis Festival.
