The two ex-boy band stars, along with Robbie Williams' wife Ayda Field, will be joining music mogul Simon Cowell on the judging panel when the show re-airs in the autumn
"I have done tour, promo, tour, promo, for nearly 30 years and now its time to branch out and start something different and this is the prefect opportunity and the perfect vehicle," says Williams.

It's being reported that Robbie and wife will pocket a staggering £10 million for appearing on the show.
"Every move I've made professionally had been okayed by my wife. She has got better instincts than me, she's smarter," he says.
He also dismissed the suggestion that his wife's lack of TV experience will go against them. "Ayda is a member of the general public and the general public always get it right," he insists.

But Gary Barlow has warned Robbie Williams that he's in for a shock on the X Factor judging panel.
"He’s got some hard work ahead, that’s for sure. I’ve told him it’s a lot of hours — more than people realise. It’s tiring," says Gary, speaking from his own experience of being on the show between 2011-2013.
"They film you for eight hours until you’ve had enough and then you say something bad — and that’s what they use when it goes out.”

But he also reckons that there will never be a dull moment with Robbie on the show. "You’re definitely going to see him turning the air blue, so tune in. He’ll be disappointed if they don’t let him," he told The Sun this morning.
Ex 1D star Louis Tomlinson says he's over the moon with the new gig.
"I have done the show. I can empathise (with) and understand people in that situation. It just made a lot of sense for me", he explained at the press conference," he says.
"Development is something I've always been interested in. It's important to have someone who has been through the process."
Speaking at a press conference yesterday to announce the new panel, Simon Cowell said: I'm going to be honest, for me the most important thing when you create a panel is you've got to have good looking people, which is why I chose myself.
"We have tried to get Robbie on every show we have made for 18 years and then for Ayda and Lauren (Silverman, Cowell's partner) they became friends."
He added: "It all happened so quickly. They came to Britain's Got Talent one night and it all seemed perfect, they came back to my house, we had a little chat on the balcony and did the deal.
"These two together, Ayda I consider the rock, Robbie can be a bit nuts, but also passionate about music.
"Louis is brilliant with talent, I've seen him come to rehearsals."
A little message from the lovely @louis_tomlinson! Join him alongside @robbiewilliams, Ayda Williams and @simoncowell at our 2018 #XFactor Auditions!!!!!???
