Adrienne Murphy

Adrienne Murphy
Adrienne Murphy is a freelance book editor and journalist. She was the founding editor of Source: Ireland’s Social, Environmental and Holistic Magazine. Adrienne wrote extensively in Hot Press about her experience as one of the ‘Monsanto Seven’, a group of environmental activists put on trial for criminal damage when they sabotaged a field of genetically modified sugarbeet in Arthurstown, Co. Wexford, in 1999. Adrienne’s struggle for justice came closer to home in 2005, when her youngest son was diagnosed with autism. In the absence of State support, Adrienne – along with other parents desperate to help their kids – established a school for children with autism in Dublin. As well as music, Adrienne’s interests include revolution, literature, healing and magic.
