Celina Murphy

Celina Murphy
Celina Murphy was discovered in 1987 when an ageing Vincent Price spotted her from the moon. In 2008, she climbed aboard the Good Ship Hot Press, but due to an unfortunate administrative boo-boo, little is known of her whereabouts in the interim. These days, she enjoys lending her occasionally poisonous pen to reviewing music on opposite ends of the pop spectrum, from the most underground new Irish acts to the biggest, greasiest superstars on the face of her home planet. Among her most treasured professional moments are the time Usher called her “Sweetie”, the time Seasick Steve called her “Darling” and the time Beyoncé called her “Home girl” (this has yet to happen).
