Born in Dublin but raised out in the wilds of Leixlip, Craig Fitzpatrick found his way to Hot Press Towers through a DCU journalism internship in the summer of 2010 and quickly became something of a permanent fixture. A full-time staff writer with the publication for two years, the past 12 months have seen him interviewing such upwardly mobile acts as The Strypes, Kodaline, Vampire Weekend, Jake Bugg and James Vincent McMorrow. There’s been comedy too, with in-depth features on Mario Rosenstock, Jason Manford, and Stewart Lee. He is a regular contributor to Radio Nova’s Rock Report and a member of the public interview team when Hot Press runs round the summer festival circuit.
