After nearly five years at Dublin Zoo, Mark took on the role of marketing manager at Hot Press. A keen photographer, his photos – from U2 in Rome’s Stadio Olympico to a Sumatran tiger root canal procedure – have appeared in Hot Press and most national newspapers. He once got a one-way ticket to Rome with nothing but twenty quid and his clarinet only to resurface after a four-month stint playing jazz in restaurants. Mark plays in goal for Hot Press Munchengladbach, who recently brought in former Crystal Palace shot-stopper Matt Gregg in a coaching capacity in an effort to increase Mark’s clean sheet tally… now there are no excuses. In August he travelled to Vesnova Children’s Mental Asylum in Belarus as part of a Chernobyl Children International team.
