The most exotic thing to come out of Co. Leitrim since boxty, Raf has been interning at Hot Press since July. Having shared his hometown of Mohill with comedienne Katherine Lynch, the Queens Of The Stone Age fan moved up to the ‘big shmoke’ five years ago to study at Trinity College and also managed to squeeze in an amazing Erasmus year abroad at the University of Seville. He recently finished an MA in Journalism at DCU. This issue, his college education comes in handy for the first time during the recession as he passes on tips to incoming college students in our student section. Raf also got the lowdown from Electric Picnic debutants Ghost Estates and an Irish-Libyan freedom fighter from the frontline of the revolution.
