Roisin Dwyer
Roisin has worked in Hot Press for the last eight years as Commisioning Editor. She also writes the Inside Track column on the domestic circuit and regularly contributes features and reviews. Over her years in HP she has had the pleasure of interviewing such musical luminaries as Robbie Robertson, Ray Manzarek, Paul Simonon, Andy Summers, Booker T Jones, Chris Cornell and to her delight, most of Thin Lizzy. She has also picked the brains of two of her favourite authors, James Ellroy and Paul Auster. In this issue she talks to ex-Python Michael Palin about his various writing endeavours, globetrotting, befriending The Beatles and being shot by Robert DeNiro. Her current fave Irish bands include The Minutes, The Riptide Movement and The Hot Sprockets. She adores We Cut Corners who she is sure will scoop next year’s Choice Prize. She is also a regular contributor to the Hot Press Rock Report on Radio Nova.
