Taking place on the stunning grounds of Slane Castle in County Meath, Boyne Valley Events have launched the Boyne Valley Viking Experience with the legendary venue for the weekend of May 21st and 22nd. It will mark the largest historic re-enactment festival in Ireland this year. Viking reenactors, all in traditional costumes, crafts people and traders with authentic hand made goods will camp in an authentic tented village to tell the local story.

Musical guests Corvus Corax will hit the stage for a special concert on Saturday, set to bring the spirit of old ages back to life with powerful drum and bagpipe sounds. Playing festivals in Texas, Brazil and all over Europe this year, the German neo-Medieval band are excited to come for the first time ever to Ireland. They'll be supported by Viking bands Seidrblot from the UK and local band Ravensdale on the night.

Dozens of highly skilled and lightly armed warriors will join with them to entertain the public on both Saturday and Sunday.
