Lambay's initial idea was to create an innovative Irish whiskey inspired by the island of Lambay, the ancestral home of Alexander Baring and finished with the techniques and expertise of Maison Camus, the ancestral home of Camus Cognac. With multiple products perfected, the company have reached new, award-winning heights since 2018.

Lambay Single Malt is a triple distilled malt whiskey, bourbon cask matured and finished in cognac casks close to the island’s shoreline housed in the bonded warehouse called the Sea Cask Room. Unique and exclusive, the Single Cask Strength expression of Lambay Whiskey Single Malt is a pure taste of island life. Where seasons have passed and infused these casks with unique maritime notes, all cognac casks used in the finish of this whiskey have been hand-selected for their rich aromatic profile and intense concentration.

Cask 6688 is the sixth cask release of twenty in the exclusive cask programme - limited to just 446 bottles. Each bottle from Cask 6688 is recorded with a batch number on the label along with the rare signature of Lambay’s Master Blender, Yonael Bernard.
